Michael Luper provides valuable firm-wide leadership ranging from finance to technology. His pragmatic, collaborative approach keeps us nimble and relevant in an evolving market.
As President and COO, Michael is responsible for day-to-day management of the firm with primary oversight of client development and relationship management, information technology, human resources, compliance, and administration of the operational aspects of research, trading and portfolio management. As CFO, Michael oversees the financial aspects of the firm.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. With a commitment to his local community, Michael serves on the Audit Committee of the Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District and was elected to the board of his homeowners' association.
Prior to joining the Olstein team, Michael was a staff accountant with J. H. Cohn & Company (now CohnReznick LLP), among the largest accounting and consulting firms in the United States. He holds a B.A. in Accounting from The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College).
